Our Story
The Beginning -
I started modding and building at a young age. As a child I would make StarWars helmets out of cardboard and duct tape. The amount of cardboard armor and Lego accessories was astounding. During my school days I would draw guitars and vines all over my notebook. Yes I was the kid with the notebook that looked like it had spent a night on a wall in the rough part of town. In my teens I would often rewire my guitars internal electronics. This led to DIY guitar pedal effects, paint jobs, and a fully hand built guitar. In my collage days I studied music at McNally Smith. In my off time from classes and band practice I made pickups for a variety of guitar types. Leather working was just around the corner as I was looking for good ways to organize my day to day tinkering. My first leather project that was successful was my leg pouch. This held a composition book, two pens and a caliper. So many people were asking for them I started in on designing a proper model.
Today -
Our current product line is rooted in these early tinkerings. Our guitar straps are a direct shadow from the old days of making pickups. I will always have a soft spot for musical gear. The bags and holsters stemmed from the desire to organise my activities. A good solid bag to haul to class or work every day is something that sets your day up for success. The holsters we make are designed to be durable, comfortable and made to the specs each individual customer wants. Our hand engraving services are expanding what we can offer in terms of individuality. With these engravings an item that was once “off the shelf” is now capable of being an heirloom piece.
